No new images today, just a entry full of words.

Ye, so tomorrow I'm headed off to Washington, D.C.

Why?

My art, or actually, my portfolio is going to be shown at the Corcoran Gallery of Art. Yes, going to be good fun, so if you're in the area feel free to stop by and take a look.

Alright, back to packing!

Assasin Elegance

Ye, so comments are welcomed! I'm not too sure about what I'm going to set up next but there's 4 more images in this series then its time for a new one. So keep on looking out for more on Violence Squared.

In other news, still getting ready to head off to Full-Sail, just doing the whole looking for an apartment thing. Not sure if I want a roomate or not, I guess it all depends on finance when the time gets here.

I should come back later this week with a new update for the new peice.

Alright, how's everyone been?

Went to New York for
The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. Incase any of you didn't know, my portoflio (some of the peices I sent in are online here; just look about.) of eight peices won a Gold Art Portfolio award. I was then given a $10,000 scholarship from CDW-G. We had a ceremony at Carnegie Hall, where we were presented with our awards. Then it was followed by a dinner at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel. The Dinner was amazing by the way. I also got to visit Chermayeff & Geismar Studios.

The studio was very impressive as well, got to meet the people behind much of their work and legacy. Next?

I'm supposed to head up to Washington D.C. where more of my work will be on show ; if you want some info on it be sure to contact me.

Graduation was yesterday. Life feels a whole lot different now that high school is done with. Its the first day out of school and I feel so lost haha, not to make it sound like I didn't have any objective in life besides school, but it feels as if a major block in my routine is just gone now. Not sure how else to describe it.

Can't let that get the best of me though, College is comming up in abour three months, so I have to stay up and ontop of my priorities, ye?

So so so so so, what has phunk been up to all this time, besides getting his graduation requirements in and wandering the lovely streets of Tamarac, Florida looking for inspiration? Not a damn thing! Haha, nah nah.. I've been good busy, but don't think I've forgotten my true purpose. Ye, I've been in the lab. working on new peices.

Here's an overdue one:

Yep, I finally got around to finishing it. Its for my "Violence Squared" series; going to be portraying violence in a art form. Weird sounding, I know, but its challenging and thats what matters most. Very hard to take the negatives of violence and the positives of art and try to make a peice someone can look at and say "Thats beautiful!" but, hell, I'm trying!

Until next time, easy & god bless!
